For creators
Leyline lists two kinds of things: mods in our Workshop (packages the launcher installs) and open projects anywhere on GitHub, GitLab or Codeberg (linked, never hosted).
- The Leyline docs: modes, the realm API, hosting.
- The Workshop: what is packaged today.
- Submit a mod: add your repo to the index.
How the index works
Every day a script checks the forges for open projects for every client the launcher supports, reads each repo's licence, files and addon TOC, and refreshes the stars and latest releases of what is listed. New projects wait until a person has looked at them. The short description is written from the repo's own one-line description and facts.
What gets listed
- Open licence only: the repo must have a licence file. No licence, no listing (it waits on a list until it has one).
- No game data: nothing that ships the game's files, client patches or repacks.
- Nothing paid, no shops, VIP or donation perks.
- Nothing decompiled or derived from decompiled clients.
- No bots or cheats for other people's realms.
- Names are shown without the game's brand words; credit always goes to the authors.
Want your project taken off? Open an issue on the Leyline repo or use Report on its page, and it is gone with the next update.
