The Leyline creator app. One app instead of a shelf of modding tools: shape the world, bring your own models, write creatures, quests, items and addons, walk them in the game in one click, and publish them as a pack a realm can install. It works from the game client you already have and tests in a copy of it, so your game is never changed.
What it does
- The world. A world editor in 2D or 3D: raise hills, dig valleys, paint the ground, pour lakes and rivers, set the sky at any hour, place props and buildings, or start a whole new map.
- Your own models. A model from Blender or any 3D tool becomes a creature, a mount or a prop you can stand on, shown in 3D and animated the way the game will show it.
- Creatures, quests and items. Short forms instead of database tables: a creature's look, level and loot; a quest's story and rewards; an item's stats; a vendor's list.
- Fights and dialogue. A fight plan as cards (yell a line at half health, go to phase two) and dialogue pages with choices.
- Test and publish. Walk it in the game in one click, then publish a pack that any Leyline realm can install from the Workshop.
